Travel & Health Insurance

Participants are responsible for making their own travel arrangements. ICBR International shall not be responsible for, and shall be exempt from, all liability in respect of any loss, damage, injury, accident, delay or inconvenience to any person during the Event, including for any illnesses contracted during the Event.  It is the delegate’s responsibility to be adequately insured in case of claims pertaining to travel/accidents and illness for the duration of his/her visit to the Event destination.

Badges
It is vital that all delegates wear their badges. Without your badge you will not be allowed access to Event sessions and functions. Delegates must wear their badges for access to all technical sessions, coffee breaks, lunch and social events.

Event Dress Code

Smart casual for the Event technical programme.  Speakers are requested to wear business attire.

Indemnity
ICBR International reserves the right to change the ICBR International Event structure, format, content, timing, or speakers without notice. The event may be moved or cancelled by ICBR International for any reason. If such a situation should occur, ICBR International cannot be held responsible for any cost, damage, or expenses that may have been incurred by the attendee. In the event that the host country Government declares a day(s) national mourning, ICBR International will not be held accountable for any financial losses resulting from the cancellation of all or part of the event.

ICBR International (ICBR) cannot accept any liability for any loss, cost or expense suffered or incurred by any person if such loss is caused by or results from the act, default or omission of any person other than an employee or agent of ICBR International. Nor can ICBR accept liability for losses suffered by reason of technical mechanical or electrical breakdown, industrial disputes, government action, regulations or technical problems which may affect the services provided in connection with this event. ICBR is not able to give any warranty that any person will appear as a speaker or panellist. English law shall govern the contract between attendees and ICBR International and any disputes shall be the exclusive preserve of the Singapore Courts.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the start of the event will incur a 10% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made less than 60 days but before the final booking deadline will incur a 20% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made after the final booking deadline will be non-refundable; however, you may put forward someone else from your organisation to take your place.

Cancellation of the event by the Organisers and Insurance

In the event that the Event is cancelled by ICBR International, or by any reason of any factor outside the control of ICBR International, and cannot take place, the amount of the registration fee shall be refunded. The liability of ICBR International shall be limited to that refund, and ICBR International shall not be liable for any other loss, cost or expense, howsoever caused, incurred, or arising. In particular, ICBR shall not be liable to refund any travel costs incurred by delegates or their guests or their companies. It follows that delegates and their guests and their companies are advised to take out comprehensive insurance, including travel insurance.

VISAS
ICBR International shall not be responsible for and shall be exempt from all liability in respect to delayed or denied visa applications. The cancellation policy will not be waived if you are unable to obtain a visa.

Data Privacy Statement

The ICBR International Event shall be managed by ICBR International. The data collected on the event registration site shall only be retained for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose we collected it for, including any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD \ CPE \ CLE)

For those delegates who are required by their professional associations to achieve minimum levels of continuing education, certificates of attendance confirming participation will be available on request. There are up to 16 hours of continuing professional development available.
